Spirit Classic 1.4.4.14 to 1.4.4.15 added a Music Box for the Underground Briar and includes some balancing and various minor changes and bug fixes.
Additions
- Added a Music Box for the Underground Briar.
Minor Changes
- Ancient Marble Chunks now have a sell value.
- Bottomless Ale, Candy Bag, Driftwood, Moon Jelly Wizard Trophy, some Paintings, Pureglow, Scarab Idol, and Seafoam Hair Dye now only require 1 to research.
- Glade Wreath now only requires 3 to research.
- Corrosive Brick is now craftable in quantities of 25 using 1 Vial of Venom and 5 Stone Blocks at a Heavy Work Bench.
- Deep Cascade Shards, G-TEK Components, Iridescent Scales, and Sulfur Deposits now pick a random variant every time they are dropped in the world.
- Updated Headsplitter's swing visuals and reworked its alternate function.
- Jellynaut's Bubble projectiles now scale off the weapon's current damage.
- Jellynaut's Bubble projectiles now linger for a shorter time after the associated set bonus is no longer satisfied.
- Tim's Scroll of Fumbling no longer inflicts Hardmode debuffs.
- Prevented Ancient Apostle, Hookbat, Valkyrie, and the majority of Spirit biome enemies from spawning while the player is either in front of player-placed walls or in a town.
- Prevented several Briar enemies from being able to spawn during certain events or in towns.
- Prevented Stymphalian Bat pairs from spawning inside tiles.
- Updated spawn conditions for several Spirit biome enemies.
- Vulture Matriarch now appears on the Lifeform Analyzer.
- Allowed several tiles to be affected by the Gravedigger's Shovel.
- Ancient Marble Chunk and Enchanted Granite Chunk tiles can now be detected by the Metal Detector.
- Slot Machine's tile sprite now has a glowmask.
- Spirit Sand now suffocates players and can be swam through by Sand Sharks.
- Dark Sepulchre generation now show its progress as it runs during world generation.
Balance
- Slightly nerfed Wooden Club minimum damage from 12 to 10 and maximum damage from 40 to 35.
- Slighty rearranged all the stats of the late Pre-Hardmode clubs.
- Reduced Glow Toad tongue damage curving in higher difficulties.
- Reduced Spore Wheezer and Mycelium Botanist spawn rates.
- Greatly reduced Furnace Maw, Gluttonous Devourer, and Wrathful Soul spawn rates.
Bug Fixes
- Adjusted Iridescent Scale sprite dimensions.
- Fixed Blaster and Heartstrike hitscan projectile damage not updating on the DPS Meter.
- Fixed Eleutherios providing a passive 100% increased damage.
- Fixed G-TEK Turret always creating gores even when hit.
- Fixed Jellynaut's Bubble projectiles not firing at the player's cursor in multiplayer.
- Fixed Jellynaut's Bubble projectiles dealing damage to allied players in multiplayer.
- Fixed miniboss death jingles not playing in multiplayer.
- Fixed Occultist displaying two death messages in multiplayer.
- Fixed Spirit Rune only detonating to the right.
- Fixed Tiny Lunazoa creating a useless projectile upon use.
- Fixed an issue where most sound effects played during world generation.
- Fixed StackOverflow causing some bad Sepulchre world generation when a Spirit world is loaded without Spirit Classic enabled.
- Fixed several tall grasses persisting after their associated block was destroyed.
- Increased the default boon rate.
- Reduced the number of unnecessary packets being sent in multiplayer while Scarabeus is in second phase.
- Restricted Interstellar Shield Core projectile maximum scale.
- Tweaked Bone Altar dust composition when destroyed.
- Tweaked Enchanted Leaf visuals.
- All Main.player[Main.myPlayer] references now use Main.LocalPlayer.
Removals
- Removed Corrosive Acid.
