The Explorer's Treads is a Pre-Hardmode Accessory found in Gold Chests. While equipped, they grant the following effects:

• +5% movement speed for every 10% maximum health lost
• The ability to dodge traps and hazards with a 50% chance. Upon dodging traps and hazards, the player emits a cloud of smoke.
  • Upon taking damage from traps and hazards, the player is granted the Explorer Speed buff for 3 seconds, which increases their movement speed by 75%.
