Reef Hunter armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Reef Hunter Helmet, Reef Hunter Chestplate, and Reef Hunter Greaves. Crafting a full set requires a total of 36 Mineral Slag and 1 Shark Fin.

The full set grants the following effects while equipped:

• +10 defense
• +50% knockback resistance
• The ability to breathe underwater
• +15% movement speed while underwater
• The ability to generate a bubble shield while dealing damage to enemies. The bubble shield grants damage reduction depending on its size, up to a maximum of 20%. The bubble shield lasts indefinitely until the player is hit by either an enemy attack or a trap. Upon being hit, the bubble shield pops, dealing damage and inflicting knockback to nearby enemies.
