Sprite permissions

Hey guys, I personally don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but, I'm making an event idea for the terraria fan ideas fandom and i'm making a boss sprite based on the old Atlas sprite. Do I have permission to edit it and upload it on there? If not, please let me know!
