The Crimson biome features 2 new enemies, 3 new critters and new drops to some vanilla enemies. Several Crimson Pustules can also be found in the tunnels of the Underground Crimson, which are ambient objects that explode when the player is in contact with them.

- The Crimson's night theme is Razor's Edge, which was composed by Salvati and Sbubby. This theme can be toggled in the Music Config settings.
