Jelly Deluge

"Strange jellyfish are raining from the skies!"

The Jelly Deluge is a Pre-Hardmode event that can randomly occur in Space each night, after at least one boss has been defeated (Only some bosses count, see Notes). It has a 1 in 7 (14.29%) chance of occurring each night before the Moon Jelly Wizard has been defeated, and a 1 in 36 (2.78%) chance after the boss has been defeated.

It can also be manually summoned by using a Distress Jelly.

During the event, its own music track Sticky Situation will play.

Notes

• Defeating one of the following bosses will allow this event to start naturally:
  • Eye of Cthulhu, Eater of Worlds, Brain of Cthulhu, Skeletron, Scarabeus, Vinewrath Bane, Starplate Voyager, or Ancient Avian.
• Because the Distressed Jelly can only spawn after one of a different list of bosses has been defeated, there is no way to summon this event pre-boss without using multiple worlds.

Trivia

• Moon Jellies are a real species of jellyfish, but don't resemble the enemies found in the event.
