The Ancient Egg is a pet summoning item that summons an Ancient Hatchling that follows the player around. The Ancient Hatchling is immune to all damage from enemies and despawns upon player death. If it is far away from the player, it will jump towards them to stay close. It is dropped by Ancient Avian in Master Mode.
