The Astral Clock is a Hardmode tool that is dropped by some Mystic Moon enemies. When used, a glowing blue clock is summoned around the player which lasts for a short moment, inflicting the player with the Time power debuff. This clock causes any enemy or critter within its radius to completely freeze in place until the clock disappears. Upon disappearing, a visual shockwave will occur.
After usage, it has a 1-miunte cooldown before it can be used again. This cooldown is indicated by a red countdown effect on the item and a pink tooltip displaying the remaining time of the cooldown. After the cooldown ends, the item will flash in the inventory, indicating that it can be used again.
Notes
- When the clock first spawns, both hands start from the left at a 270-degree angle before rotating towards the right, with each hand stopping at a certain angle.
- As the clock disappears, the minute hand appears to stop at a 60-degree angle while the hour hand stops at a 90-degree angle.
- The amount of time the clock has passed is between 9:45 to 3:09.
- The clock's freeze effect does not work on bosses or NPCs.
