The Aurora Saddle is a Hardmode mount-summoning item that summons a rideable Aurora Stag. It is dropped by the Aurora Stag after feeding it a Ice Berry which results in a cutscene playing out before being dropped. The Aurora Saddle is required to complete the quest "Taming the Stars".

The Aurora Stag slowly builds up speed up to a maximum speed of 46 mph and has a maximum jump height of 18 blocks. This jump height can be increased further with double jump accessories such as the Cloud in a Bottle. Upon summoning or dismounting the mount, blue stars will spawn and eventually fade out. While on the mount, smaller blue stars will spawn and eventually fade out.

• When dropped onto the ground, it emits a unique glowing blue effect.
