Infernal Guard
Pain Monger's armor is a craftable Hardmode magic armor set crafted from Torment Shards.
It consists of a Pain Monger's Mask, Pain Monger's Breastplate and Pain Monger's Greaves.
The full set grants the following effects while equipped (this includes the set bonus):
- +28 defense
- +15% magic damage
- +16% magic critical strike chance
- +60 maximum mana
- -10% mana usage
- While below 25% health
- -4 defense
- The player is granted with the Infernal Rage buff, which spawns three infernal guard projectiles that circle the player at all times. While the infernal guards are active, the player is granted +50% magic damage and -25% mana usage.
- Upon taking damage, multiple infernal embers are released from the player which linger on the ground for a moderate amount of time and inflict the Combustion Blaze debuff. The embers cause a damaging explosion upon contact with an enemy which has a chance to inflict the On Fire! debuff.
