Scarab Shield

The Gilded Scarab is a craftable Pre-Hardmode accessory. When equipped, getting hit by an attack spawns a shield that spins around the player and provides them with the Scarab Shield buff for 5 seconds. When the buff first activates, the player receives 5 defense. Then for every 8 damage the player receives, this shield provides an extra 1 defense, up to a maximum of 50 total defense. The defense boost will reset after the buff expires or gets canceled.
