The Gravity Modulator is a Pre-Hardmode accessory dropped from most Asteroid Field enemies with a 0.5% chance. When equipped, it reduces the player's gravity by 95%. Unlike the Featherfall buff, the player cannot hold ▲ Up key to descend slower, and the player still takes fall damage when falling from a large height.
Notes
- As fall damage is calculated based on distance, not speed, the player can take large amounts of fall damage with the Gravity Modulator equipped, despite traveling at relatively slow speeds.
- Terminal velocity is not decreased while the Gravity Modulator is equipped, it just takes much longer to reach it.
Trivia
- While equipped, the accessory emits blue sparks from the player.
