Slag Tyrant's armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Slagstone. It takes a total of 45 Slagstone to craft a full set.

It consists of a Slag Tyrant's Helm, Slag Tyrant's Platemail, and Slag Tyrant's Greaves.

• The Slag Tyrant's Helm provides 6 defense, 5% increased minion damage, and increases maximum sentries by 1.
• The Slag Tyrant's Platemail provides 8 defense, 4% increased minion damage, and increases maximum minions by 1.
• The Slag Tyrant's Greaves provides 6 defense, 5% increased minion damage, and increases maximum minions by 1.

A full set provides a total of 20 defense, 14% increased minion damage, increases maximum minions by 2, and increases maximum sentries by 1. Its set bonus grants the ability to double-tap the ▼ Down key to cause all the player's sentries to release a burst of 8 fireballs that deal damage to enemies and has a 1/6 (16.67%) chance of inflicting the On Fire! debuff for 3 seconds. There is a 8-second cooldown after causing a burst before the player can activate the set bonus again.
