Frigid armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Frigid Fragments. If the entire set is equipped in the armor slots, the player emits glowing blue particles.
It consists of a Frigid Faceplate, Frigid Plate, and Frigid Greaves.
The full set grants the following effects while equipped (this includes the set bonus):
- +9 defense
- +3% critical strike chance
- Double-tapping the ▲ Up or ▼ Down keys spawns an icy wall at the cursor's position. The icy wall deals 14 damage and can hit up to 5 enemies, inflicting the Frostburn debuff on contact. After spawning an icy wall, the player is inflicted with the Below Zero debuff, preventing them from spawning another icy wall for 8.33 seconds.
