Astralite armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Astralite Shards. It takes a total of 42 Astralite Shards to craft a full suit.
It consists of an Astralite Visor, Astralite Chestguard, and Astralite Leggings.
- The Astralite Visor provides 6 defense and 6% increased ranged critical strike chance.
- The Astralite Chestguard provides 9 defense, 5% increased ranged damage, and 20% chance to not consume ammo.
- The Astralite Leggings provides 7 defense and 5% increased ranged damage, along with leaving a trail of stars as the player moves; this effect is purely visual.
A full set provides a total of 22 defense, 10% increased ranged damage, 6% increased ranged critical strike chance, and 20% chance to not consume ammo. Its set bonus provides an unlisted bonus of 5% increased damage resistance. Additionally, it grants the ability to create a field of energy at the cursor's position for 5 seconds by double-tapping the ▼ Down key. The energy field boosts any ranged projectile that passes through it, increasing its damage by 15%. After the energy field dissipates, the player is afflicted with the Cosmic Cooldown debuff, preventing the player from deploying another energy field during its duration.
