The Livewire is a flail crafted using Astralite Shards. When used, it wounds up and when released it can connect to blocks and enemies which will charge the Livewire to shock them that are in contact with the Livewire or Livewire Head.

The Livewire Head can extend up to 18 tiles before returning.
