The Toucane is a Pre-Hardmode summon weapon that can be found in Ivy Chests. It summons a toucan that will attempt to strafe and shoot feathers at enemies that are close enough to the player. If there are no nearby enemies, the Toucan will attempt to find a place nearby to rest.
Its best Modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stats bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions and Sentries cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Toucane has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
