The Pieces of Eight is a Hardmode magic weapon that is dropped by Pirate Deckhands during a Pirate Invasion. Upon use, it throws eight damaging coins in a short arc, which bounce once before breaking. Critical hits inflict enemies with the Midas debuff for 3 seconds, which causes them to drop 10-49% more coins upon death.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
