The Vile Wand is a Pre-Hardmode wand that is crafted from Demonite Bars. It fires two diseased spit projectiles and upon killing enemies will transform the diseased spit into small eaters that home onto other enemies.
It is one of the four staves needed to craft Horizon's Edge, the ultimate pre-hardmode staff for Corruption worlds.
Its best modifier is Mythical.

Notes
- The Crimson counterpart for the Vile Wand is Bloodletter.
- Consequently, the Vile Wand cannot be used to craft Vessel Drainer, the Crimson counterpart to Horizon's Edge.
