The Sovereign Talon is a Hardmode spear that is obtained from the Vulture Matriarch's Golden Egg. When in use, it thrusts out a talon spear that creates a orange shockwave at the tip of the spear, further increasing its range. It first starts out with a straight thrust before repeatedly moving in random directions. The spear will also gain charge while it is being thrusted which is indicated by the tip of the spear emitting a yellow glowing trail. Once fully charged, it will fire a short-lifespan arcane wave that pierces infinitely and passes through tiles.

Its best modifier is Godly. It cannot get modifiers that affect size.
