Not to be confused with Boss/Event summoning items.

Summon weapons are weapons that have been added to increase the variety of summonable damage sources and expand on the Summoner class in Terraria greatly.

There are currently 12 Pre-Hardmode and 4 Hardmode minions and 9 sentry-type summon weapons, and 7 other weapons that deal summon damage.

Causes minions to target hit enemies.

Skeletalon Staff.png Skeletalon Staff 16 Ancient Avian.png Ancient Avian 1/6 (16.66%) Summons two Skeletal Harpies at the cursor's position that seek out and attack enemies like minions.

Skeletal Harpies disappear after a few seconds or upon hitting an enemy.

Summons a stationary gravity affected Gloomgus Mushroom on the cursor's position that explodes on contact with an enemy.
