The Bloodthorn Blade is a Pre-Hardmode broadsword that is dropped by the Vinewrath Bane. When swung, it will fire a bloody wave that moves slowly and does not pierce. Performing critical strikes with the sword will inflict the Poisoned and Withering Leaf debuffs. It increases in speed as the player's health gets lower and fires more waves when at half health.
Its best modifier is Legendary.
