The Headsplitter is a craftable Pre-Hardmode melee weapon. When used, it will swing from top to bottom, followed by a bottom to top swing. Hitting enemies has a chance to inflict the Surging Anguish debuff. While this debuff is active, using the weapon's right-click ability will inflict bonus damage. The right-click ability causes an explosion of vengeance which damages enemies in a small area.

Its best modifier is Legendary.
