Moonlight Preserver

The Lunazoa Staff is a Pre-Hardmode summon weapon that is dropped from the Moon Jelly Wizard. It summons a Moonlight Preserver that fires smaller Jellyfish that explode on contact with enemies. Unlike most minions, only one Moonlight Preserver can be summoned. Summoning the Moonlight Preserver will consume one of its minion slots, with the number of slots consumed increasing the spawn rate of Jellyfish.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage a Mythical Lunazoa Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
