The Eye of the Beholder is a Pre-Hardmode magic weapon that is dropped by the Beholder. It functions like a yoyo weapon with the only difference being is that it deals magic damage and consumes 10 mana per second on use. Right clicking will also cause to yoyo to cast bouncing fireballs at enemies, while consuming 10 additional mana for each fireball casted. It has a reach of about 14 tiles and an 11-second attack duration.

Its best modifier is Godly. It cannot get modifiers that affect size.

History

• 1.4.4.1:
  • Mana drain reduced from 15 mana/sec to 10 mana/sec.
  • Fireballs are now only prompted by using right click and cost an additional 10 mana to cast.
  • Yo-yo retreats when running out of mana, rather than disappearing.
