The Explorer's Treads is a Pre-Hardmode accessory that is sold by the Adventurer. When equipped, it increases the player's movement speed by 5% for every time they lose 10% of their maximum health. It also grants the player a 50% chance to dodge traps and hazards. Dodging traps and hazards will produce a cloud of smoke. Taking damage from them grants the player the Explorer Speed buff, which greatly increases their mobility for 3 seconds.
