Cryolite armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Cryolite Bars. It takes a total of 53 Cryolite Bars to craft a full suit.

It consists of a Cryolite Helmet, Cryolite Chestplate, and Cryolite Greaves.

• The Cryolite Helmet provides 9 defense and 12% increased melee speed
• The Cryolite Chestplate provides 10 defense, 10% increased melee speed, grants immunity to knockback, and a 12.5% chance for melee strikes to inflict the Chilly Grasp debuff for 3 seconds.
• The Cryolite Greaves gives 9 defense and 8% increased melee speed.

A full set provides a total of 28 defense, 30% increased melee speed and a chance for melee strikes to slow down enemies. Its set bonus grants an icy aura around the player that inflicts the Chilly Grasp debuff onto enemies within the aura for 0.33 seconds. The aura increases in size over the course of 15 seconds, but resets to its normal size if the player takes damage.
