Bismite armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Bismite Crystals.
It consists of a Bismite Helmet, Bismite Chestplate, and Bismite Leggings.
The full set grants the following effects while equipped (this includes the set bonus):
- +8 defense
- +3% critical strike chance
- +10% movement speed
- If the player does not take damage for 10 seconds, they will charge up Virulence. Upon hitting an enemy while in Virulence causes a toxic explosion that deals 25 damage and inflicts the Poisoned debuff. Taking damage while Virulence is fully charged will deplete it entirely. After the explosion is released, the player is inflicted with the Virulent Suppression debuff, preventing any Virulence from building up or being released for 2 seconds.
- While in Virulence, the player emits green particles and has an afterimage effect which are purely visual.
