Bismite armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Bismite Crystals. It takes a total of 23 Bismite Crystals to craft a full set.
It consists of a Bismite Helmet, Bismite Chestplate, and Bismite Leggings.
- The Bismite Helmet provides 3 defense and 4% increased movement speed.
- The Bismite Chestplate provides 3 defense and 3% increased critical strike chance.
- The Bismite Leggings provides 2 defense and 6% increased movement speed.
A full set provides a total of 8 defense, 3% increased critical strike chance, and 10% increased movement speed. Its set bonus grants the player Virulence; after 10 seconds to fully charge and striking an enemy creates a toxic explosion which deal 25 base damage and inflict the Poisoned debuff. If the player takes damage, it will deplete all active Virulence entirely. In both cases, the player is inflicted with the Virulent Suppression debuff, preventing any Virulence from building up or being released for the next 2 seconds.
