Frigid armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Frigid Fragments. It takes a total of 36 Frigid Fragments to craft a full suit.

It consists of a Frigid Faceplate, Frigid Plate, and Frigid Greaves.

• The Frigid Faceplate provides 3 defense.
• The Frigid Plate provides 4 defense and 3% increased critical strike chance.
• The Frigid Greaves provides 2 defense.

A full set provides a total of 9 defense and 3% increased critical strike chance. Its set bonus grants the ability to create a wall of ice at the cursor's position by double-tapping the ▼ Down key. The icy wall deals 14 damage and can hit up to 5 enemies, inflicting the Frostburn debuff on hit for 3 seconds. Creating an icy wall inflicts the player with the Below Zero debuff, preventing them from creating another for 8 seconds.
