The Short Fuse and Long Fuse are tool items that increase or decrease the fuse time for Explosives. The two items are sold by the Demolitionist, and can each be found in Gold Chests with a 1/30 (3.33%) chance. The Long Fuse is additionally granted as a reward for completing the quest "Wrapped Up".
The Short Fuse decreases the fuse time by 5/12, or 41.7%. This speeds up Bombs from 3 seconds to 1.75 seconds, and Dynamite from 5 seconds to 2.92 seconds.
The Long Fuse increases the fuse time by 3/2, or 50%. This slows down Bombs from 3 seconds to 4.5 seconds, and Dynamite from 5 seconds to 7.5 seconds.
