The Veil Glyph is a Pre-Hardmode glyph that is sold by the Enchanter after Skeletron has been defeated. This glyph can be applied on weapons by pressing the ⚷ Open / Activate key. When applied, weapons receive the Guarding effect. Weapons with this effect allows the player to build up a defensive phase shield in front of them while dealing damage to enemies. This shield reduces the amount of damage the player takes, which can be increased further the more damage the player deals to enemies. The shield will begin to wear off overtime for as long as the player continues to damage enemies. If the player takes damage, then the shield will disappear.

Notes

• Like most other glyphs, its effect can be removed with a Null Glyph, by pressing the ⚷ Open / Activate key on the weapon.
