The Unholy Glyph is a Pre-Hardmode glyph that is sold by the Enchanter after the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu has been defeated. This glyph can be applied on weapons by right-clicking on it. When applied, weapons receive the Cursed effect. Weapons with this effect cause enemies to erupt into two to four cursed phantoms when killed. These phantoms briefly fly around before homing on nearby enemies and explode on contact.

Notes

  • Like most other Glyphs, the effect can be removed with a Null Glyph, by right-clicking on the enchanted item.

History

  • 1.5:
    • Resprited and reworked glyph effect.
    • Can now be applied by right-clicking on the item.
    • Now shows its effect as custom prefix text.
    • Can now be sold back for Blank Glyphs.
    • Its effect can no longer be activated by passive or low-value NPCs.
