Cascade armor is a craftable Pre-Hardmode armor set crafted from Deep Cascade Shards. It takes a total of 36 Deep Cascade Shards to craft the full set.

It consists of a Cascade Helmet, Cascade Chestplate, and Cascade Greaves.

The Cascade Helmet gives 3 defense and allows for breathing underwater; the Cascade Chestplate gives 4 defense and 50% knockback resistance; and the Cascade Greaves gives 3 defense and 15% increased movement speed while in water.

A full set provides a total of 10 defense, allows free breathing underwater, 50% damage resistance, and 15% movement speed boost while in water. Its set bonus grants the player the ability to build up a bubble shield when dealing damage to enemies, which upon at full size will grant the player heavy damage resistance against the next enemy attack, which then can damage and knockback nearby enemies.
