Clatterbone armor was a Pre-Hardmode armor set that had a 1/55 (1.82%) chance to be dropped by Wheezers, Spore Wheezers, and Cavern Crawlers.

It consisted of a Clatterbone Faceplate, Clatterbone Breastplate, and Clatterbone Greaves.

A full set provided a total of 11 defense. Its set bonus provided death prevention, recovering the player to the health they had prior to taking the fatal hit. This effect could only be active every 6 minutes, indicated by the Sturdy debuff, so it did not provide infinite avoidance of death.
