Hyperborean items are Pre-Hardmode quest items that consist of a Hyperborean Artifact, Hyperborean Fragment, and Hyperborean Relic. Their only purpose is to be given to the Enchanter to complete the quest "Beneath the Ice".

Two of the Hyperborean items are dropped by certain enemies while the quest "Beneath the Ice" is active, while one of them is craftable.

• The Hyperborean Relic is dropped by Winterborns and Winterborn Heralds at a 20% chance.
• The Hyperborean Fragment is dropped by Crystal Drifters at a 20% chance.
• The Hyperborean Artifact is crafted from Cryolite Bars and Creeping Ice.

Notes

• All Hyperborean items have a unique glowing blue effect on their rarities when hovered over in the inventory, however it does not work when they are dropped into the world.
