The Infernal Shield was a Hardmode accessory that was dropped by Infernon. When equipped, it allowed the player to dash left or right by double tapping their left/right hotkey, similar to the Shield of Cthulhu. Dashing into an enemy dealt 36 damage and you left behind flame particles after you dashed.
