The Corruption twisted the innards of this fish to perpetually rot, releasing a noxious gas that forms bubbles with the excess mucus it now forms. It is surprisingly corrosive.
The Toxikarp is a Hardmode enemy that rarely spawns in Corruption waters. It behaves similar to most fish enemies, swimming towards the player to deal contact damage and inflict the Poisoned debuff. It has a 1/2 (50%) to drop the Toxikarp weapon which is named after.
