It must have been a deadlift champion in its previous life, for if it isn't throwing heavy punches at you, it can be seen training with the chests scattered about the land.
The Chest Zombie is a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawns on the surface during the night. It will chase and attack the player by charging at them with its fist. Upon death, it drops a Chest item that when picked up, it will give the player several surface Chest-related items.
