The Chest Zombie is a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawns on the surface during the night. It will chase and attack the player by charging at them with its fist. Upon death, it drops a Chest item that when picked up, it will give the player several surface Chest-related items.

Bestiary entry for the Chest Zombie: "It must have been a deadlift champion in its previous life, for if it isn't throwing heavy punches at you, it can be seen training with the chests scattered about the land."
