These pests infest the innards of the abominable Festerfly. If you flex hard enough while one is biting you, it might explode.
The Festerfly is a Pre-Hardmode enemy that spawns in The Corruption. It flies towards the player, periodically spawning Pesterflies. While Pesterflies fly towards the player in a similar manner to Festerflies, but cannot summon more duplicates.
Notes
- Only 2 Pesterflies can be in the world at once.
- Each Pesterfly attempts to spawn one every 5 seconds.
