A soft, flickering light anomaly drifting about the Spirit. They are said to be the wandering souls of departed travelers.
The Soul Orb is a passive critter. It can be found in the Spirit and Underground Spirit biome. It behaves identically to Fireflies. Soul Orbs can be caught using the Bug Net and can be placed to release them. The item itself can also be obtained by capturing an Icebound Soul. Like most critters, the critter itself does not drop money upon death, but unlike other critters, the item does not have a sell value.
The quest "Sanctuary: Soul Searching" requires the player to hand over a Soul Orb to the Dryad.
