The G-TEK Turret is a Hardmode enemy that spawns attached to the ceiling or the ground in the Granite Caves. It is a stationary turret that moves its cannon in a 180-degree angle and emits a long-range laser telegraph. When the player is within range of its laser telegraph, its telegraph flashes bright blue and begins to rapidly fire lasers inaccurately at the player. It will return to its normal behavior if the player is dead or is not in range with the turret.
Notes
- If the blocks are mined from where the turret is attached to (such as on the ceiling), it will fall and take damage when it hits the ground, potentially killing itself in the process.
- Unlike most enemies, G-TEK Turrets do not receive increased stats in Expert or Master Mode.
