The Gremlin was a Hardmode enemy that spawned in The Briar. It leaped toward the player, dealing contact damage. Once "killed" for the first time, the Gremlin would morph into an Angry Gremlin. The Angry Gremlin was able to jump higher, move faster, and inflict more damage, but sacrificed a good chunk of its defense and health.
