The Observer was a Hardmode enemy that spawned in the Cavern layer. It hovered in the air launching Poison Globs towards the player which inflicted the Poisoned debuff. It also had a chance to inflict Poisoned upon contact.

- The Observer was based off the Tentacle Ghost from the action-adventure game Starbound.
